How does the Law of Divine Oneness intersect with the Adoption Experience?

Mar 27 / Diana Pifer
As Adoptees we have a unique perspective on life.  It’s estimated that about 3-4% of the US population is adopted.

That’s a fairly “small” percentage, which may increase to about 5-8% when combined with Foster Care, NPE, and Donor Conceived individuals.

One of the biggest factors for Adoptees, is the experience of relinquishment, and being separated from our biological families at a young age.  For others, it may be the awareness that a parent isn’t related to you, or living in a variety of homes without consistent adults to call “parents”.
When we become aware of and decide to integrate the Law of Divine Oneness, we understand that we ARE connected to our Biological Families, regardless of whether we know them or not.

We can tune into the energy of our DNA, and begin creating an energetic connection with them if that is what we choose. This was a HUGE revelation for me, and allowed me to connect with their energies before taking my journey for biological discovery and reunion.

Having a Universal Law that says, regardless of “time and space” I am still connected to my biological family can be a comfort for some adoptees and others who do not know their parentage. And while there are people on this planet that perhaps we would rather NOT be “connected” to, our Energy all comes from the same place.

So, if someone is not treating you the way you deserve, or refuses to connect with you in a positive way, know that they are on a different pathway, and their journey is not meant to coincide with yours.  Yet they still come Pure Positive Energy, and hopefully one day they will find it.

This Law does not mean you MUST connect with everyone, only that we are interconnected through energy, and can tap into that when we choose to.  Which means we can choose whether OTHER people’s energy impacts us to  a great or lesser degree… (More to come on that one!)

Next week I will share how Adoptees can utilize this awareness and information to benefit their life and experience as an Adopted person.
